Beer 101 | Your 2 Minute Beer Crash Course
Is it possible to learn the basics of beer in 2 minutes? Yes it is!
All beers have 4 main ingredients: malt, hops, water, and yeast. Malt is also known as the grains that make a beer and ultimately contributes sweetness and bready, toasty, or roasted flavors. Hops provide bitterness to balance sweetness from malt and can also provide various aromatics and flavors. Water makes up 90% of beer, proving its worth in the equation. And finally yeast is what actually makes the beer into an alcoholic beverage. There are two types of yeast and each contributes different character to the resulting beer.
There are 4 countries to study when you want to learn about beer styles: Germany, Belgium, England, and the Unites States. Almost every beer style in the entire world comes from one of these four countries. Finally, to taste beer, make sure to look at it, smell it, sip it, then think about it. Congratulations! Cornhole Clinic with a Pro: Episode 1 - Danel Resurreccion
In this episode we join Danel Resurreccion,- an up and coming pro in the ACL as he walks us through bag selection and the fundamentals of his game. He is currently ranked 17th in California, and 36th in doubles in the nation. He is also a founder of Bangarang, a cornhole gear and apparel company based in San Diego. Danel represents the Western Division of the ACL and is quickly earning the respect of the cornhole world with his consistent top 10 finishes through out his first two years on the pro tour.
